“ When the IHOP right off the highway had a 45 min wait, we decided to venture further into Clarksville for breakfast. Rudy's is a small place in the older part of Clarksville that serves classic diner food. I enjoyed the mushroom and swiss burger, it came dressed well with lots of mustard! The fries were ok. My husband ordered the steak and eggs, par for the course. They do give you several options of steak including 6oz and 10 oz cuts. My sister-in-law ordered a build-your-own omelet. My daughter demanded the kids strawberry pancakes. The kids pancakes are quite sizable, it would have been enough food for me! They do serve it with a whipped cream smily face. The thing I appreciated most about Rudy's was how tolerant they were of my rowdy kids. They were both full of energy from being stuck in the car for a few hours and finally had some space. The server gave the kids each a small gift and was very helpful. ”
“ This old school diner has been a Clarksville staple for years now. I'm glad I was able to finally stop in and give them a try! I ordered the Fat Rudy omelette, which was good and full of toppings. I preferred the French toast, but that's mainly because I always have a sweet tooth regardless of the time of day. I was able to try my associates fries which were hot and flavorful, especially with the cheese sauce! If trying this place on a weekend, I'd suggest arriving early! And whatever you do, DON'T block the entrance! ”
“ Great little diner with great food and great prices. Friendly staff and quick service. Fairly large menu with everything you'd expect from a diner, great service, great variety, friendly service and stellar food. We will be return customers. ”
“ Old school diner. Breakfast choices for every mood. Great service every time. Not the nicest booths (those who have been there know what I'm talking about, lol); they could use a good recovering. If you go at prime breakfast hours (still trying to figure those hours out) be prepared to wait. They have a few seats at the bar and 6-8ish booths. I never really counted. If you're looking for a dive with great breakfast give it a go. I've been several times and will continue to go back. They have lunch hours, maybe dinner. Never had it. I'm a breakfast guy at Rudy's. ”
“ Quintessential diner experience. Bacon perfectly crisp, thick with rich flavor; fluffy not over whipped pancake; omelette crepe-like thin filled with fresh ingredients cut similarly for balanced flavor; superbly friendly sweet as pecan pie service. Hairnet on one/ ball cap on other cook. Seating and silverware well-used yet clean (c'mon, it's a diner). Waitresses moved as one well-greased machine moving people and food as smoothly as any high-pressure big city venue. ”
